Thank you for reading this page — most people never do. It sets out how ordering from Magic Oven works, what we promise you, and the few things we ask of you in return. These terms work together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Shipping Policy; placing an order or creating an account means you accept all four.
1. Who we are
Magic Oven is an artisan bakery in Pune. Everything you order on this site is baked to order in our own kitchen at Shop 51, Brahma Majestic, Kondhwa Khurd, Haveli, Pune 411048. When these terms say we, us or our, that is who we mean; you is anyone using the site. You can reach us any time at contact@magicoven.co.in.
2. Open to all ages
Magic Oven is open to everyone. The site and our services have no minimum age — there is no age restriction on browsing, creating an account, or enjoying our cakes.
If you are under 18, two things keep everything smooth:
- Please use the site with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
- Payments must be made by, or with the consent of, a parent or guardian.
For our part, we do not knowingly collect more personal data from children than we need to fulfil their orders. Our Privacy Policy explains how a parent or guardian can review or delete a minor’s data at any time.
3. Your account
Creating an account takes a minute. We verify both your email address and your mobile number with one-time codes, so order updates, quotes and invoices actually reach you. Your profile holds your name, date of birth and gender, plus a photo if you choose to add one, and every account receives a unique Account ID in the form MO-XXXXXX — quote it when you pick up an order or write to support.
You sign in with a password, and you can switch on two-factor authentication for extra protection. A few things we ask:
- Keep your password and sign-in codes to yourself — activity on your account is treated as yours.
- Keep your details accurate; a wrong mobile number means missed delivery updates.
- Tell us straight away at contact@magicoven.co.in if you suspect someone else has used your account.
4. Ordering from the shop
Nothing at Magic Oven sits on a shelf waiting — every item is baked to order. When you place an order it is an offer to buy; we accept it when we send your order confirmation by email. Very occasionally we have to decline or cancel an order — an ingredient runs out, the address turns out to be beyond our delivery area, or a payment cannot be verified. If that happens after you have paid, you are refunded in full (see our Refund Policy).
5. Custom cake orders
Custom cakes are quoted individually, and the flow protects both of us:
- Sign in and send a request. Custom orders need a signed-in account. Describe the cake, and attach inspiration images if you like — images only; other file types are not accepted.
- We review and quote. Our team reviews your request and emails you a quote for the work.
- You confirm. The quote must be confirmed in your account before we start making anything. Quotes can carry an expiry date — confirm before it lapses, or ask us to reissue it.
- We bake. Once a quote is confirmed, your cake enters the kitchen queue.
Custom orders close 24 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery time; after that, changes are no longer possible because your cake is already underway. Payments against confirmed quotes follow the Refund Policy.
6. Scheduled orders
You can schedule an order for a future date — up to a number of days ahead set by the shop and shown when you pick your date. We plan the bake against your chosen date, so a scheduled order arrives as fresh as a same-day one.
Cash on Delivery may be limited for scheduled orders based on criteria set by the shop — for example, order weight, value, or item count. The payment methods available for your specific order are always shown at checkout.
7. Prices, payment and invoices
All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes; delivery charges are extra and shown at checkout before you pay. You can pay online — UPI and cards, processed by our secure payment partner — or choose Cash on Delivery where it is offered. We never see or store your full card details; our payment partner handles those on systems built for the job.
A PDF invoice is emailed to you and available to download from your account once an order is paid. For Cash on Delivery orders, that is after delivery, once payment has been collected.
8. Cancelling an order
You can cancel within 15 minutes of placing an order, before dispatch, straight from your account — no questions asked. Because everything is made to order, preparation begins shortly after that window closes and the order can no longer be cancelled. If something has genuinely gone wrong — a duplicate order, the wrong date — write to us anyway and we will see what we can do.
Refunds for cancelled orders go back to your original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days depending on your bank. If a Cash on Delivery order has not been paid yet, there is nothing to refund — the order is simply cancelled. The full detail lives in our Refund Policy.
9. Delivery and pickup
We deliver through our delivery partners across our Pune service area, with standard, express and cargo options depending on the order and the distance. Delivery quotes are calculated from your distance and PIN code at checkout, and delivery is free within a radius set by the shop. Pickup from the shop is always available, and always free. Our Shipping Policy has the full picture.
10. Coupons, vouchers and offers
- Coupons apply a discount at checkout, subject to the conditions shown with the coupon.
- Vouchers are bound to your account and cannot be transferred. A voucher may have a start date and an expiry date, and only one voucher can be used per order.
- Targeted discounts and campaign offers may carry their own validity windows and conditions, shown wherever the offer appears.
Promotions have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We may withdraw or cancel a promotion — or reverse its benefit on a specific order — where we find misuse or abuse.
11. Magic Oven Insider
Insider is our optional paid membership — ₹999 per year at the time of writing, with the current price always shown before you join. The perks (a member discount on every order, free delivery within the member radius, a complimentary birthday cake, early access to the seasonal menu and priority support) are listed on the membership page and may evolve over time.
Membership renews automatically each year. You can cancel at any time and keep your perks until the end of the period you have paid for. One membership per account. Membership refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
12. Messages we send you
Some messages are part of the service itself: order confirmations and invoices by email, custom-order quotes, vouchers we issue to you, and SMS order updates sent over DLT-registered routes, as Indian telecom rules require. You will receive these whenever you order.
Marketing is different — we send it only with your consent, and every marketing message includes a way to opt out. You can also change your preferences from your account at any time.
13. Allergens and food information
Everything is made in a single kitchen that handles common allergens, including nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs and soy. We take real care, but we cannot guarantee that any product is entirely free of an allergen. Tell us about allergies in your order notes or custom request, and email us before ordering if you need ingredient details — we would much rather answer twice than have you guess once.
14. Images and content you upload
When you attach inspiration images to a custom order, or submit any other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and that it is not unlawful or offensive. You keep ownership of what you upload; you give us permission to store and use it only to prepare your quote and your order. We may decline a request or remove an upload that breaks these rules.
One honest note: an inspiration image is a creative reference, not a promise of an exact replica — and designs involving copyrighted characters may need to be adapted.
15. Fair use and our content
Please use the site as it is meant to be used: no probing or disrupting its security, no automated scraping, no fraudulent orders, and no gaming of promotions. Everything on the site — photographs, words, the Magic Oven name and brand — belongs to us or our licensors. You are welcome to share it; please do not reuse it commercially without asking.
16. Our responsibility to you
We stand behind what we bake — the Refund Policy sets out exactly how we put genuine problems right. Beyond that, and to the extent Indian law allows, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.
17. Changes to these terms
We update these terms occasionally — when a feature launches or a law changes. The date at the top always tells you when the current version took effect, and we flag significant changes on the site or by email. Continuing to use Magic Oven after a change means you accept the updated terms.
18. Governing law and grievances
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If something has gone wrong, please give us the chance to fix it first. Write to contact@magicoven.co.in with your order number or Account ID and we will respond within 48 hours. You can also write to us by post: Magic Oven, Shop 51, Brahma Majestic, Kondhwa Khurd, Haveli, Pune 411048.
